This project combined the top two floors of a twenty-two story building into one large penthouse. The owner, former head of Miramar Productions, presented a unique challenge: to duplicate a circular elevator that he remembered from a movie set to join the two floors. We designed this with a curved glass and a wrought iron car, surrounded by a sweeping grand staircase. The owners selected much of their furnishings and decorative items from French antiques. The interior design theme was developed by the studio of Anita Brooks.
