This residence, at 140 Dahlia, Denver, Colorado, employs ten degree angles to channel experience and focus attention in specific directions. The volume is shaped to preserve privacy where it is important and to reveal vistas that are attractive. It is liberating to step outside our orthogonal pre-conceptions and see the world through a different lens. The design also pays homage to mid-century modern roots in the perforated block screen walls and 1950s color scheme.
