One of Denver’s leading landscape companies is Designs by Sundown. They have worked on many of our projects and it finally came time to design an headquarters building for their expanding business. The owner wanted a building that reflected the semi-rural characteristics of their site. Design something “like a barn” were the instructions. The solution is a contemporary structure that is clearly an office building, but picks up one the characteristics of old ranch structures. The corrugated metal “silo” houses a circular stairway capped with a huge round skylight. Lush indoor plants grown below.
